How It Works

Kubernetes / ECS clusters → ClusterCost Agents → Local Dashboard → (optional) SaaS Control Plane
  1. Agents run inside every cluster or ECS environment. They read resource requests/usage, tag metadata, and join it with on-demand AWS pricing.
  2. Local Dashboard subscribes to the agent feed via gRPC/WebSockets and turns the data into per-pod, per-service, and per-tenant cost charts.
  3. SaaS Control Plane ingests the same metrics over a secure channel, normalizes them across clusters/accounts, and layers on alerts, forecasting, and reports.

No customer data leaves your infrastructure unless you opt in to the SaaS connection, and you can always keep running the agents + dashboard in isolation.
